The Singapore Polytechnic Staff Branch of AUPE was founded in early 1960 to represent the non-academic staff from the various schools and department who are union members. The Branch Committee meet regularly to discuss union issues, assist members in claims and gifts and organizing union activities and outings. The AUPE Singapore Polytechnic Staff Branch (SPSB) is the only branch in AUPE to pay mutual benefits to the Ordinary Members besides AUPE HQ. The AUPE Singapore Polytechnic Staff Branch provides its members with strong representation by: - Negotiating collective agreements
AUPE Singapore Polytechnic Staff Branch Endeavour to encourage more Singapore Polytechnic Staff to join the Union. Is committed to give its members strength, dignity, and their own voice; to bring all members together to assist and inspire one another; to raise the morale of its members and support the aspirations of its members Thereby improving the quality of services we provide and create a workplace without discrimination; to promote social and economic justice for its entire member at Singapore Polytechnic. Share a vision to promote good union-management cooperation, with an effort to improve communication, so to better understand each other's perspectives
