EAE and EAE(I) focuses on students who have strong aptitude and interest in a field related to the diploma course they are applying for.

Admissions Criteria for O-Level students

You have to meet the following admissions criteria:

  • Obtain a net ELR2B2 aggregate score of 26 points or better for the O-level exams; and
  • Meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for the course applied. The MER for each course can be found here.

Admissions Criteria for ITE Students

You have to meet the following admissions criteria:

  • Higher Nitec qualification - final net GPA of 2.0 or above (including CCA bonus points)
  • Nitec qualification - final net GPA of 3.5 or above (including CCA bonus points)

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on demonstration/evidence of interest and aptitude for applied learning. Applicants must minimally have expressed interest/passion for the course as articulated in their write-up in order to be considered for shortlisting. Shortlisted applicants will be assessed on evidence/demonstration of interest and aptitude which may include:

  • Portfolio of works
  • Work attachments and sustained involvement in course-relevant projects
  • Participation in competitions, relevant programmes and CCAs
  • Awards, achievements, positions or roles assumed within as well as outside of School
  • Performance in aptitude test/interview
