
The 14th IEEE International Conference on Networks (ICON2006) will be held in Singapore. One day of tutorials and two days of technical presentations are planned for the conference. The conference will also include invited speakers and poster presentations. ICON2006 will provide a forum to discuss the innovations and recent advances in computer networks and communications. Contributions describing original research, surveys and applications are solicited.

PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Full papers are to be submitted for review. The paper must begin with an abstract of not more than 200 words, including 3 to 5 keywords at the end of the abstract. Submissions should present original, unpublished research and be no longer than 6 pages (A4, single line, minimum 10-point font) including figures. All diagrams, charts, etc are to be in black/white/grey only. Papers should be written in English.

If you are a first-time user, please proceed to step 3 to create your own account and password. If you have previously created your account, please login and proceed to step 5 to submit your paper.

Click on the link to create your own account and password. You will then receive an auto-email informing you of your login ID and the password you have created.

After obtaining your login ID and password, please login to the online submission system to complete your personal particulars. You may now proceed to submit your paper.

To submit paper, click on the Submit Paper link and it will bring you to the Paper Submission Form.

Complete the form, attach your PDF file (< 1 MB) and click on the Upload Submission button to submit your paper.

Repeat step 6, if you wish to submit another paper.

At the Summary of Submission(s) table, click on the appropriate button to edit/delete your paper, and create/update your co-author list.

All paper submissions will be carefully reviewed by three experts and returned to the author(s) with comments. Submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity, relevance and correctness.
Submission of papers implies the authors' willingness to register for the conference and present the paper(s). An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the final version is accompanied by the registration form(s) and fee(s) for at least one of the authors (only full member / non-member fees will be allowed). One author registration will guarantee publication of up to only two accepted papers.
In order that the review process is completed in time, no extensions will be granted for paper submissions.
SPECIAL / PLENARY SESSIONS
Proposals for Special / Plenary Sessions may be submitted to the Technical Program Co-Chairs via email at icon2006@sp.edu.sg by March 15, 2006.
TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
Proposals for full- or half-day tutorial topics are solicited. Each proposal should be about 1000 words long and should include a synopsis, tutorial outline and brief speaker's biography.
Please submit your proposals to the Tutorial Chair via email at icon2006@sp.edu.sg by March 15, 2006 (extended to April 3, 2006).
BEST PAPER AWARDS
Awards will be given for the best paper and the best student paper at the conference. To be eligible for the best student paper award, a student or group of students must be primary contributors to the paper. Papers to be considered for the student paper award should be identified as such during the paper submission.
