The Regional Industry Networking Conference (RINC) has been organised by the Singapore Polytechnic since 2002. The objective of this conference is to provide local and regional participants with a platform to discuss industry trends and developments in the areas of Engineering.

The theme for RINC 2010 is "Cloud Computing and Resource Sharing Platform". This year's focus will be on how Cloud Computing can be tapped to enhance industry development and increase business opprtunities. Resource sharing and other service platforms would also benefit end-users in terms of better Infocomm productivity.

To be held on 12 and 13 October 2010, in the Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre, RINC 2010 will be a two-day conference-cum-exhibition event. The conference will cover the following topics:

• Cloud Computing Infrastructure,
• Cloud Computing Applications,
• Virtual and Physical Resources,
• Software as a Service (SaaS) Impact,
• Open and Integrated Platforms, and
• Global Business Opportunities.

An exhibition showcasing products and solutions using Cloud Computing and Resource Sharing will be held concurrently outside the conference venue.

Since its inception, about 3000 industry delegates have attended this conference. We are also fortunate to have the support of government agencies and industry partners over the years. We hope to receive your continuing support for RINC 2010.
