More than 250 delegates packed Lecture Theatre 1A for the first session of RINC 2006 on the morning of 8 November 2006. The two-day conference saw 21 distinguished speakers present 6 main papers over two morning sessions and 15 technical papers in four workshops over two afternoon sessions.
Themed, "", the annual conference that year was organized in line with the new national initiative, iN2015, which hopes to provide broadband network access nation-wide so that infocomm usage and applications can penetrate all sectors in Singapore over the next ten years.
