Full-Time Diploma in Chemical Engineering
About the Course
This course makes you exceptionally versatile. You will learn all about the
principles of chemical engineering as well as chemistry fundamentals to enable
you to experience how real-life applications are developed. Additionally, you
will also learn project and management skills. There will be plenty of hands-on
experience in operating sophisticated pilot plants. Our laboratories and workshops
are fully equipped with an extensive range of pilot plants decked with state-of-the-art
process instrumentation and control systems. To add realism to your training,
the use of real-time dynamic process simulators has been included to maximize
your learning experience. Further, you will spend 6 weeks working on a real plant
at the Chemical Process Technology Centre (CPTC) on Jurong Island to prepare you for a rewarding career. There will also
be project based work involving plant design with opportunities for you to develop
new pilot plants and/or virtual, multimedia or web-based training material.
