National Junior Solar Sprint Competition

 
 

The National Junior Solar Sprint Competition (NJSSC) is a race competition of mini-solar cars designed and assembled by secondary school students using their ingenuity, innovativeness and creativity.


Objectives

1.

To raise the awareness of our youths on renewable energy and environmental protection.

2.

To apply the knowledge of Science, Mathematics and Engineering principles learned to design a solar car.

3.

To make use of recycled materials to construct a solar car and therefore mindful of the environmental protection.

Participants are encouraged to use the principles of mathematics and science in this fun, hands-on educational activity.
