The Diploma in Banking and Finance has built a strong foundation for my future endeavours. My learning journey with the school did not stop at textbooks and lecture notes as I was given many opportunities to apply my knowledge and gain hands-on experiences through various competitions. I was also fortunate to be part of an Overseas Community Involvement Programme to Cambodia.

The help and encouragement from my lecturers and teammates provided a conducive environment for me to further develop my interest in the banking and finance industry.

Right after I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic, I took up the Associate Financial Planner (AFP) and Associate Wealth Planner courses, the first and second stages of becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). I am glad that the school introduced this certification course as I believe that it will give me a good head start in the banking sector.

I would like to thank SP Business School and the lecturers for the nurturing environment and moulding me into who I am today.

The Diploma in Banking and Finance (DBKF) has definitely helped me to prepare for my career. Many modules taught have complemented my work in the bank. I strongly recommend anyone who has an interest in finance and accounting to join DBKF, which builds great skills for a career in banking.

The curriculum is relevant and has equipped students either for work or university education….I cannot even distinguish the course contents at SP with those at local and US universities for similar majors.
