Olivia Koh received her Bachelors in Business Administration from NUS and her MBA from Surrey University, UK. Olivia started her career in the shipping industry and subsequently managed various departments in the diverse shipping and logistics industry. She was involved in Freight Management, Operations and Documentation, before venturing into Marketing and Sales Management with Damco Maritime, a subsidiary of the Royal Nedlloyd Group. She also oversaw training in her various responsibilities.
That rekindled her passion to be involved in educating, nurturing and developing people; as Olivia has aspired to teach since young. Today, she shares her knowledge and experience (beyond the textbook) with her students at the Business School, and feels a sense of purpose and achievement when her students graduate with life skills and competence to become work ready, world ready and life ready. Olivia has many interests; she loves music and sings and plays the keyboard regularly, and is a great fan of all things Japanese, having stayed and worked in Japan for a short period for time with the Mazda Logistics Services Corporation, Hiroshima.
