Mei Shan was a corporate banker before joining SP Business School. Armed with industry knowledge of credit management and trade finance, she has nurtured numerous batches of students for the financial industry. On behalf of SP Business School, she led a team which collaborated with Insolvency & Public Trustee’s Office to conduct yearly workshops for bankrupts. In addition, she was a committee member for Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) – Financial Training Provider (FTP) Working Group. In 2010, she worked closely with Moneysense for the set up of the Institute of Financial Literacy in Singapore Polytechnic. On 16 July 2012, the MoneySENSE –Singapore Polytechnic Institute for Financial Literacy was launched. One of her greatest joy is when she meets her graduates and sees how they have excelled in their chosen career.
