As the freshmen complete their first semester in the DFI, it’s time to have some fun and bonding time with each other. The Student Chapter had been continuously putting in tremendous effort to plan the games several weeks in advance, spending time and ensuring the various facilitators and game masters knew their roles.
Held on 10th June 2014, more than half of the cohort had signed up for the themed event “Finder’s Game”, with the aim of getting to know more people in the course. The seniors had participated in the camp as well, making it a wholesome experience for all involved. In addition to the ice-breaking games in various groups, the main games included “Wet the Flag”, where each team was to “kill” other teams by bursting all the balloons and using water guns to destroy the flag of the opposing team. Squeals of excitement and delight echoed throughout an otherwise quiet school atypical of a term break.
As the day drew to an end, prizes were presented to various groups who had won in various categories from the telematches. Goodbyes were said to new-found friendships formed in this bonding event as various groups arranged to meet again during the holidays. An apt ending indeed as the term draws to a close and a fresh challenge begins in July.

“It’s a camp that will have many unforgettable memories and bond DFI as one” – Anna Germine Peck, DFI/FT/1A/03
A nice end to the day – showing all the muscles built from this bonding event.
