Digital Fashion Week 2015 at the Capitol Theatre

Students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) collaborated with DFW Creative, on the preparation and execution of the Digital Fashion Week (DFW) from 29 to 1 November at the Capitol Theatre. 

An offline and online platform collaborating with YouTube, Google and British Council, the Digital Fashion Week (DFW) is Asia’s highest profile designer showcase supported by governmental bodies such as Singapore Tourism Board (STB), SPRING and Design Singapore Council, to promote local fashion designers through events and digital platforms. 

Online viewers worldwide are able to watch the full fashion week ‘live’ in action and make immediate purchases off the runway. They can also interact instantly with DFW through all major social networking platforms. 

The students’ role in this project was to research for potential sponsors to collaborate with DFW, assist in administration work and logistic needs. During the event itself, the students took charge of the overall logistic requirements which included staffs’ meals, chairs, clothes racks, etc. and delegating volunteers’ roles.
