“Marine Parade Loves Singapore” is a 2-day event planned and executed by six year two students from the Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management (DEPM), School of Architectural and the Built Environment in Singapore Polytechnic.

The event which was held on 2 and 3 August 2014 was done in collaboration with the Marine Parade Community Centre, Marine Terrace Breeze RC, Marine Parade Youth Executive Committee (YEC), National Environmental Agency (NEA) and People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM), to celebrate Singapore's 49th National Day.

The objective of this event was to get residents of Marine Parade and the public to pen down their birthday wishes for Singapore on red and white balloons or whiteboards so that the residents can take pictures with their birthday wishes. These photos will then form part of a photomontage which will be displayed at the Marine Parade Community Centre for a month.
