School of MS organised the 3rd PFP Completion Ceremony 2016 at the Auditorium on 1 April 2016.
Once again, our PFP cohort achieved 100% passing rate with 221 students all completed PFP successfully!
On 10 August 2016, the NTU School of Physical and Mathematical Science represented by Dr Fedor Duzhin, gave away Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Participation to six selected teams in recognition of their good quality submissions for a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assignment.
Student Dialogue Sessions were organised on 20 July 2016 for students currently undertaking the Advanced Mathematics, Higher Mathematics and PCSPA programmes.
There was a sharing session by SP Alumni Loo Rui Yuan (currently studying Electrical Engineering at NUS), Toh Yan Xiong and Tan Jee Wang (both of them currently studying Physics in NTU), to AMM3 students on 11 May 2016 at LT1A.
Dr Fedor Duzhin from NTU's School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences gave a talk entitled "Predicting future population" to AMM3 students on 11 May 2016 at LT1A.
Professor Prasanna Ghali from Digipen Instiute of Technology gave a talk on “Vectors are Fun: A Practical Guide to Vector Techniques in Games” to Advanced Maths and Higher Maths students students on 3 Feb 2016 at LT1A.
23 secondary school teachers, including one principal, visited MS as part of the SP ECG Teachers Learning Journey on 9 September 2015.

MS welcomed the second cohort of 225 PFP students by organising the PFP Freshmen Orientation from 14 to 17 April 2014.
MS organised PFP Completion Ceremony for the inaugural cohort of 191 PFP students at the SP Auditorium.
The Preparatory Maths Briefing was conducted on 27 Mar 2014 at the Auditorium with about 450 newly enrolled E-Math students attended.
School of Maths and Science set up a Math Clinic at T434 for centralized student consultation by Adjunct Lecturers. A pilot run was conducted in the last two weeks leading to the examination period this semester (AY1314S2)

As part of continual staff engagement, an MS Staff-Director Dialogue Session was conducted on 9 September 2013.
A total of 82 volunteers, including MS staff, CLS staff, MS ex-colleagues, MS adjunct lectures and staff's family members joined a heartwarming event to deliver food and vouchers to less fortunate families in the community.
Three teams of Advanced Math 3 (or AMM3) students from DASE and DME received the top three prizes from NTU School of Physical and Mathematical Science.

SIP Project Gallery Walk was held from 16 July to 20 July 2012. Students are provided with the opportunities to showcase their project prototypes to external partners/visitors and SP staffs.
MS and CLS sent a team of 13 staff for the Inter-Cluster Staff Dragon Boat competition during the 2012 Singapore International Water Festival (SIWF) at the Marina Barrage on 30 June 2012. Our AHSC team got into the 5th Runner-up position.
E2T2, otherwise known as Eat Eat Talk Talk, held its inaugural run on 4 May 2012.
14 year one student tutors from DACP, DBT, DCHE & DOPT participated in the Maths Made Alive peer-tutoring programme with CHIJ (Toa Payoh) Secondary School.
MS organised the SP Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Challenge on 11 and 12 Mar 2012. It attracted a total of 112 participants, with a certification rate of 96%.
This course is designed for 1st-year full-time students who have not taken A Maths in their GCE 'O' Level examinations, or students who do not possess a credit pass in A Maths. It aims to review and reinforce your foundation in mathematics and to prepare you for your first year engineering courses.
