Other Schooling Expenses

There is a wide range of bursaries and grants available for students to apply for to defray their living expenses.

1. BURSARIES

SP-Administered Bursaries/ Scholarships/ Grants

± MOE Bursary

Application Period: 17 November 2016 - 3 March 2017

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singaporeans
  • Full-time Diploma or Part-time Diploma students
  • Gross monthly household per capita income (PCI*) of $1,900 and below
  • Not in receipt of the CDC/CCC-Polytechnic Bursary in the same Academic Year
For Full-time Diploma students
PCI* Quantum
$1,400 or less $1,500
$1,401-$1,900 $750

Application Procedures

  • Please apply online in the Student Portal (Under e-Services > Financial Assistance)
  • Submit the supporting documents listed in the Application Form and Checklist to Student Service Centre
    (T16 Level 1) during office hours. You may also need the Income Declaration Form.
    Examples of the required documents are given in the application guide.

The processing time from application submission to receiving the bursary takes up to three (3) months.
Successful applicants will be notified via their iChat email account on their application status.

Part-time students with PACE: Please approach PACE for information on bursary application.

± MOE Bursary for PFP

Application Period: 17 November 2016 - 3 March 2017

Quantum: $870/ Academic Year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singaporeans
  • PFP students
  • Gross monthly income of $2,500 or below or gross monthly household per capita income (PCI*) of $625 and below

Application Procedures

  • Please apply online in the Student Portal (Under e-Services > Financial Assistance)
  • Submit the supporting documents listed in the Application Form and Checklist to Student Service Centre
    (T16 Level 1) during office hours. You may also need the Income Declaration Form.
    Examples of the required documents are given in the application guide.

The processing time from application submission to receiving the bursary is usually up to three (3) months.

External Bursaries

± Howe Yoon Chong PSA Scholarship

Application Period: 1 December 2016 - 15 March 2017
Please be informed that only shortlisted applicants will be notified by email.

Quantum

  • Tuition and other compulsory fees
  • Living allowance
  • Book allowance

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizens aged 25 and below
  • Monthly household per capita income (PCI*) of $750 and below
  • Good academic results (minimum B average)
  • Track record in CCA
  • Participation/Demostrated ability/Contributions in any of the following areas:
    - Community work
    - Innovation in science and technology
    - Leadership and entrepreneurial skills
