Students and staff from the Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) course came together for an afternoon of fun and games on the 30 June 2010. Teams had to race against time to complete various game and activity stations, including mastering dance movements, which emphasized team work and social interaction. All participants were winners and walked away with gifts of new friendship and a wider networking circle.
The DIT Bonding Day was planned and organized by the students, for students. Lim Cheng Lei, a Year 2 student and one of the event organisers said that “it was great seeing my fellow peers having fun and meeting different schoolmates across levels. My organising committee and I had an enriching experience and I am proud of the committee for their hardwork and also thank the school for their support.”
"I am so happy to see participants enjoying the game I designed." said Perry Teo Hee Yong who thought up the dancing game that ended the event with a Bang.
“Overall, I think the Bonding Day was pretty good,” said Ng Eng Liang another Year 2 student.
One student summarized the high-spirited mood of all who participated, “I have added new found friends in my Facebook and enjoyed the new companions after the event.” said Chi Kok Pin.
