Everyone is engaged in the new media like never before. Digital media is radically changing the way we interact, share information, learn, shop and watch movies.

With a Diploma in Digital Media (DDM), you will acquire essential knowledge and skills to develop original and innovative content.

Our extensive training equips you with skills in design, technology, usability studies, and problem solving to brave the challenges of a new generation of digital media specialists.

This interactive game called “Hop Hop Frog” is a cross-discipline project developed by DDM and Diploma in Bioengineering students. It helps injured children recover through ‘play’ while undergoing physiotherapy.

In DDM, it is not all study. We have field trips, guest lectures, and industry visits to make the course interesting and relevant.

A team of 22 DDM students and 2 staff members embarked on an overseas community service learning trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 13 to 26 Dec 2010. The project entitled ‘MELT - Moments That Last a Life Time’ aimed at sharing digital media and software skills with Vietnamese students from 2 local schools, teaching them basic photography, features of the DSRL cameras, image editing and photo-journalism.

You will also gain first-hand work experience through a semester-long internship to boost your skills. This makes our graduates very employable in a competitive job market.

DDM student Su XiangTing was among the 9 students from our school to have been selected for the NUS-MDA Singapore Hollywood Attachment Programme. She was assigned to Motorola‘s Applied Research and Technology Centre in Chicago. Her task revolved around Android App programming, user interface and graphical design.
