EZ-Link Card

The Tertiary Student EZ-Link Card allows concessionary travel on public buses, LRT and MRT in Singapore.

All full-time matriculated diploma students not receiving an allowance or not sponsored by any organization, with the exception of those who have a scholarship or a bursary given on the basis of academic achievement or hardship, are eligible to apply for the Tertiary Student EZ-link Card.

All Part-time and Post-Diploma students, irrespective of the courses they are enrolled in, are not eligible to apply for the Tertiary Student EZ-link Card.

For Newly Enrolled Students/ Freshmen

Application and Collection of Tertiary Student EZ-link Card

Your EZ-Link Card will be processed for you and you can collect it when the term starts.

Do take note of the following information to help us assist you in getting your EZ-Link Card in the fastest possible time:

  • After you have enrolled as a student, it will take 2 to 3 weeks for Transitlink to process your card.
  • When your card has been processed, the Student Service Centre (SSC) will send you an SMS message to do the following:

    • For Singaporeans:
      Go to any TransitLink Ticket Office with your NRIC, SP Student Admission Card and pay a fee of $8.00.
      Retain the printed receipt issued by TransitLink as proof of payment.
    • For International Students:
      Same as above, except bring your passport, Foreign Student Pass (FIN) and Student Admission Card.
       
  • When the school term starts, the Student Servce Centre (SSC) will send an SMS message to you to inform where and when to collect your EZ-Link Card.
  • After collecting your EZ-Link Card, you can go to any TransitLink Officer to activate your EZ-Link Card to buy your concession fare.

  • Note: Your EZ-Link Card can only be activated when the academic term starts.

For Current Students

Application for Tertiary Student EZ-link Card

(This is for SP students who have never been issued any Tertiary EZ-Link Card previously.)

To apply for a Tertiary Student EZ-link Card, please drop by the Student Service Centre (SSC @ Blk T16 level 1).

Our SSC counter staff will ask you to fill in your particulars in our EZ-Link Card Application Log File.

The SSC will then help to submit your particulars to TransitLink.

It will generally take about 2 weeks for TransitLink to process your request.

SSC will notify you via SMS when to make your card at the Transitlink Offices.

Extension of Tertiary Student EZ-Link Card

(This is for SP students who are repeating their course of study with Tertiary EZ-Link Card that has expired.)

Please drop by the Student Service Centre (SSC @ Blk T16 level 1).

Our SSC counter staff will ask you to fill in your particulars in our EZ-Link Card Extension Log File.

The SSC will then help to submit your particulars to TransitLink.

It will generally take about 2 weeks for TransitLink to process your request.

SSC will notify you when to extend your card at the the Transitlink Offices or Add Value Machines.

Replacement of Lost Tertiary Student EZ-Link Card

If you should lose the ez-link card, call Transitlink Customer Service Centre at 1800-7674333 to report the lost card. The lost card will be invalidated within 48 hours of reporting.

Immediate application for a replacement card can be made at the following Transitlink Offices:

  • Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange
  • Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange
  • Hougang Bus Interchange
  • Jurong East Bus Interchange
  • Pasir Ris Bus Interchange
  • Tiong Bahru MRT Station

Note: Operating Hours: 1000 to 1800 hrs daily (Closed on Public Holidays)
