Henderson Secondary students Lee Yue Wing, Tang Jia Ying, Regina Lim and Lee Zhen Cheng won the top prize in the Electronic Lantern Competition with their innovative 'dancing lantern'. Organised by the Singapore Polytechnic, yesterday's event attracted 90 students from 12 schools. The students were judged on creativity and innovation, aesthetic and ergonomics, quality and reliability, and technical know-how. The objective of the contest was to marry the arts with engineering to let participants develop creative and analytical skills.
