SP students win awards at the Creme Awards, held in conjunction with the Singapore Fashion Design Week.

SP students garnered several top awards at the Crème Awards 2007 held on 1 April 2007 at Raffles City Shopping Centre
Low Wei Yi, second- year DDM student clinched the top prize in OP T-shirt and 2nd runner-up in Adidas shoe designing categories.
A modest Wei Yi said: "My designs are resultants of observations and compilations of my life, dreams and feelings.'
Siti Khairunnisa Muhd Anis, second-year DCMD student won the 1st runner-up in OP T-shirt and 2nd runner-up in Roxy surfboard categories.
"The school's constant efforts to grant us students with the opportunity to take part in designing competitions grant us the understanding of industrial players' expectations of our designs,' she said.
Neo Yan Cheng, a DARCH graduate was awarded 2nd runner up in Charles & Keith shoe designing category. Her design was based on the theme 'Hope for Freedom'. She said: "The course taught her how to present designs in that exquisitely unique manner that appeal.'

SMIT Lecturer Wendy Lee was proud of the students' achievements and attributed their "learning success to the fruitful collaboration between SMIT and SD lecturers in conducting several courses."
SMIT Director Song Nay Hay, believes that an adventurous teaching approach where they allow students to embark on experimental and unique designing experiences is key.
The award is one of CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd's many efforts to provide win-win opportunities for its retailers and local youth designers.
