Diploma in Information Communication Technology (DICT) students wins National Infocomm Competition Quiz again, for the second time in a row.
Diploma in Information Communication Technology (DICT) students, Timothy Thong Qian Mu, Lionel Teo Ee Siang and Yeo Jie Shun, have done SP proud again!
The trio have won the first prize in the Polytechnic/ITE category at the National Infocomm Competition Quiz held at the Singapore Science Centre on 15 November 2007.
This is not the first time the trio had been crowned champions of the NIC quiz - they were also the winners of inaugural NIC Quiz which was held earlier this year in February.
During the competition, teams were be quizzed on their general knowledge of the various areas of infocomm such as digital media, internet technologies and history, networking and security, mobile/wireless communication and programming concepts.
Another team of DICT students, Chua Jie Sheng , Ng Yong Bin, Chew Mei Jun walked away with the second prize.
DICT is jointly offered by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the School of Media and Info-Communications Technology.
