Inter-Cluster Staff Dragon Boat competition

MS and CLS sent a team of 13 staff for the Inter-Cluster Staff Dragon Boat competition during the 2012 Singapore International Water Festival (SIWF) at the Marina Barrage on 30 June 2012. Our AHSC team got into the 5th Runner-up position.

MS organised the SP Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Challenge on 11 and 12 Mar 2012. It attracted a total of 112 participants, with a certification rate of 96%.

Diploma-Plus Courses

The School of Mathematics & Science offers the following Diploma-Plus courses. Click on the banner to view the course details.

Induction Programme

This course is designed for 1st-year full-time students who did not take A Maths in their GCE 'O' Level examinations.

Short Courses

This is a refresher course in mathematics designed specifically for students who plan to join the university to pursue a degree in engineering or IT. It aims to strengthen the foundation of polytechnics graduates in mathematics to prepare them for university education. A strong foundation in Physics is advantageous for students embarking on engineering degree courses. As such, this course aims to strengthen the foundation of polytechnic graduates to prepare them for university education. Participants will also receive the training needed to solve physics problems, building on their knowledge of mathematics and basic calculus.
