People's Republic of China

Year 2013 'Gaokao' or National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)

Application is open to students holding the 2013 NCEE Results.

• Meet 2013 Tier 2 China University admission cut-off points
• Minimum 60% for English
• Minimum 60% for Mathematics
• Minimum 60% for the relevant subject (Combined Science / Combined Arts)
• Minimum 60% for 2 other subjects (1 subject if NCEE has only 4 subjects)

NCEE students from the Arts Stream and students who did not take the relevant Science subject in NCEE would not be eligible for Engineering / Technology courses.

Applicants fulfilling the above criteria will be required to sit for an Entrance Test in English (written and oral), Mathematics and Science. The Entrance Test will be conducted in Singapore.

Integrated Programmes (including IB programmes in a Singapore mainstream school)

Students from Integrated Programme (IP) Schools in Singapore who have completed the equivalent of Sec 4 as well as those who have graduated from IP schools can be considered for admission. Eligibility is similar to GCE 'O' level (please refer to Full-time Courses). Eligible candidates will be assessed based on their school performance, recommendations, tests and / or interviews.

For those who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the entry requirements are

• Minimum Grade 4 for English (1st Lang) or Grade 5 for English (2nd Lang) except for Creative Writing for Television and New Media and Media and Communication courses where a grade 5 (1st Lang) or 6 (2nd Lang) is required
• Minimum Grade 5 for Mathematics
• Minimum Grade 5 for relevant subject
• Overall Aggregate should be at least 22 (based on 5 subjects including English, Maths and relevant subject).

Thailand

Maw 6

• Minimum Grade Point of 2.0 (60%) for English
• Minimum Grade Point of 3.0 (70%) for Mathematics
• Minimum Grade Point of 3.0 (70%) for the relevant subject
• Minimum Grade Point of 2.0 (60%) for 2 other subjects
• Overall Grade Point of 3.0 (70% / Good) for 5 subjects

Applicants fulfilling the above criteria will be required to sit for an Entrance Test in English (written), Mathematics and Science. The Entrance Test will be conducted in Singapore.

Other Countries

GCSE / IGCSE / GCE (non S'pore-Cambridge) and / or other qualifications (will be assessed based on its equivalence to the GCE 'O' Level examinations)

Note:
IGCSE / GCSE grades A to C is comparable to GCE 'O' Level grades 1 to 6 and IGCSE / GCSE grade D is comparable to GCE 'O' grade 7).

Shortlisted candidates with qualifications other than GCSE / IGCSE / GCE will be required to take entrance tests in English^#, Mathematics and Science for consideration of entry into 3-year diploma courses.
