COURSE AIMS The aim of the course is to prepare the candidate for COC Class 1 Orals and Shiphandling examination. 
SCHEDULE 2015: 05-30 Jan, 02-27 Mar, 04-29 May, 06-31 Jul, 03-30 Sep, 02-27 Nov 
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Candidates must have completed their Class 2 & 1 Deck written examinations conducted by Singapore Polytechnic (approved by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore), be in possession of the Class 2 Certificate of Competency Deck (approved by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore), meet the sea service requirements of the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore for the issue of the Class 1 CoC Deck.

Visa / Student Pass Application for International Student
Singapore Polytechnic will be applying the student pass for you via Student Pass On-Line Application & Registration (SOLAR) system administered by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA). For candidates from countries which require a visa to enter Singapore (details can be found at the ICA web site at http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=96&secid=94).


Please note that your enrolment to the course is conditional upon ICA approving your application for an entry visa and student pass.

Attire during Training For Navigation Bridge Simulator Classes students must be dressed in a white shirt, black pants and black shoes. Students who do not comply with the dress code will not be allowed into the Navigation Simulator.
Additional Information Students should be prepared to stay in Singapore for at least 3 months .
