What is this course about?
The WSQ Diploma in Warehouse Services aims to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the functions and activities in warehouse and inventory management. It covers costing, technology, process, layout, materials handling systems and manpower aspects of managing a warehouse to support manufacturing or distribution. The course takes on an interactive hands-on approach to learning with emphasis on analysis using Excel and presentation skills.
This WSQ diploma consists of 4 core modules covering Teamwork, Supply Chain Operations, Quality Systems and Project Management. It also has 6 specializations modules covering Warehouse Operations, Purchasing, Costing, Layout, Warehouse Management System and Dangerous Goods Management.

This course aims to train participants for logistics industry. The curriculum is designed with a good blending of theory and industry practice for effective roles as Buyer, Material Planner, Distribution and Freight Forwarders, Warehouse Management Coordinators or Supervisor, Project Planners and Co-ordinators.
Participants will learn how to meet the requirements of different roles in order to accomplish and develop effective decision-making and problem-solving skills at strategic, tactical and operational levels to fulfil orders and execute and meet project time-line.
WSQ Warehouse Services graduates can apply for Ngee Ann Poly Diploma in Business Practice (International Supply Chain)
Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Participants are assumed to have the following:
• Have basic logistics skills in warehouse operations
• Basic computers skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point skills
Matured adults without formal education but who are presently working in the logistics industry can be considered for this course. Applicants may be followed up with phone interview to assess their suitability for the course.
For individual applicant, instalment plan is available, subject to approval.
Corporate applicant is to make full subsidised course fee within 14 days from the invoice date.
The total course fee for the 10 modules of WSQ Diploma in Warehouse Services (10 modules) is $8000.00 (excluding GST).

One module fee before subsidy is $800.00 + $56.00 (7% GST) = $856.00
After 50% Baseline Funding, one module fee $400.00 + $56.00 (7% GST) = $456.00

|Enhanced Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme
With effect from 1 July 2013, if you are a Singapore citizen aged 35 years or over, have a monthly income of not more than $1,900, you can enjoy 95% subsidy of your course fee for a wider range of courses covering all Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ ) courses, Academic Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE), as well as Certifiable Skills Training courses accredited or supported by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). You may also be eligible for a training allowance* if you sign up for any WTS qualifying courses on your own without the support of your employer and successfully complete it. In addition, you may receive cash awards* for completing training.

Note: Participants have to meet a minimum of 75% attendance and attain competency in all the modules. If these criteria are not met, participants will have to pay the subsidy amount to Singapore Polytechnic.
- PSEA - If you have funds in your PSEA account (for Singaporeans born after 1987 and below 30 years old), you can use it to cover the balance after the 50% subsidy.
- CQA (CET Qualification Award) - Participants (Singapore Citizens only) achieving their first WSQ Diploma can apply for the CQA (CET Qualification Award) of $1000 upon completion of the Diploma.

Mode of Assessment
Participants are required to undertake continuous assessments, projects and written test.
Upon completion participants will be awarded the WSQ Diploma in Warehouse Services, if they achieved minimum of 75% attendance rate as well as certified competent on all assessments and projects required by all the 10 modules within the course period.
Participants may login to SkillsConnect to print e-certs for Statement of Attainment (SOA) for each module.

1. Photocopy (back and front) of NRIC for Singaporeans and PRs, or “Employment”/ “S” Pass for foreign applicant.
2. Scanned copies of your academic certificates / result slips / transcripts: (eg: GCE ‘N’,‘O’ Level Certificate, NITEC, Diploma, Degree, WPLN SOA).
3.CV or brief description of employment history.
4. For Company sponsored applicants - Letter of employment endorsed by HR stating job designation, duration of employment and job description

For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows:
• 2 weeks before the commencement of the course - Full refund
• Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund
• On or after date of commencement - No refund
The Singapore Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel or postpone any of the courses. Applicants will be duly notified and where applicable, the full fees will be refunded.
The Singapore Polytechnic also reserves the right to amend the fees charged or the period and duration of the courses.
