This course enables the participant to learn the basics of accounting and be able to prepare a simple set of accounts by understanding the concepts of debit and credit. The participant will learn how to read a set of final accounts.
The course can be accessible online at http://epace.sp.edu.sg/ and comprises of two parts:
1. Accounting fundamentals that spell out the ABCs of accounting
2. Running of a business using a computerised accounting software

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)
With effect from January 2016, Singaporeans aged 25 years and above who received their SkillsFuture
Credit account activation letter will be eligible for an initial credit of $500 which can be used to pay for
course fees for a range of eligible skills-related courses. The credits can be used on top of existing
course fee subsidies/funding.
This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants. Application via SkillsFuture Portal can only be made starting from 30 days before the course commencement date.
