Students will learn how to create illustrations or concept artwork of a card game.
You will create a fantasy character card design in a unique and modern style. A list of simple drawing techniques will give you a solid foundation to work upon for your future projects.
Students or working adults interested in card game illustrations.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Participants must possess at least knowledge of Basic Photoshop.
The techniques covering the process of tracing the rough lines of a sketch drawing with a clear line in preparation for colouring.
The process of applying colours to an inked drawing by using various digital brushes and layering techniques.
The technique used to represent three-dimensional elements on a flat surface.
The process of allocating, mixing and coordinating colours of an illustration.
Students will master the concepts of brightness and saturation, as well as the theory of complementary colours.
The techniques of reproducing existing images or objects by close observation.
The use of a base material such as existing drawings, illustrations or photographs to trace their outline and replicate their colours. This training also helps to improve overall drawing skills.

The participants will be awarded the Certificate of Performance issued by PACE Academy, Singapore Polytechnic in collaboration with Kadokawa Content Academy.

Please note that an administrative charge of $15 will be imposed for any returned cheques from the bank or financial institution.
2. All successful applicants will be notified with a letter of confirmation via email.
3. Withdrawal and Deferment
Withdrawal and deferment notice must be made in writing to the Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy via email to [email protected]. For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows:
• 2 weeks before the commencement of the course - Full refund
• Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund
• On or after date of commencement - No refund
The Singapore Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel or postpone any of the courses. Applicants will be duly notified and where applicable, the full fees will be refunded.
The Singapore Polytechnic also reserves the right to amend the fees charged or the period and duration of the courses.
The data provided to Singapore Polytechnic will be kept strictly confidential and will be used for the purpose of course administration. The data may be passed on to the relevant organisations that require the information related to the course.
