This diploma offers students an exciting platform to explore and experiment with architectural design. The course is fully integrated with 100% in-course assessment and offers learning opportunities in architectural design and technology within the regional and global context. Students are exposed to design primers and year-long projects. They learn and work in design studios and participate in out-of-classroom activities locally and overseas. Frequent talks by industry designers add flavor to the course through interactive dialogue and forum sessions.

Topics taught range from theoretical subjects to technological and environmental issues, enabling students to design with a creative mind while balancing with the practical aspects of architecture. 2-D/3-D computer software modules equip students with the latest design communication skills and tools. A 12-week internship programme trains students to be work-ready upon graduation.

This diploma is well-recognized among the leading building industries and has garnered confidence in local and top overseas universities and institutions – NUS, SUTD, RMIT, Bartlet School of Architecture, AA and Sci-Arc. Students gained entry into the second or third year of the architectural degree programme. Our students also won numerous local and international competitions while pursuing their DARCH studies
