Sec 3/4/5 The Clean Water Challenge aims to generate students' interest in water technology and enhance their awareness of the importance of water. Students will be given filter materials to build their DIY water filtration system to clean up dirty water. They will then pump the dirty water through the kit to obtain clean water using a hand pump.

All levels The National Software Competition (NSC) will be in its 32nd run in an annual flagship event organised SP’s School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology (DMIT). Stay tuned to the competition theme for 2016.

To help prepare the students for the competition, two workshops will also be held. Part I: Python Workshop (11-12th Oct) and Part II: Working with Raspberry PI and Grove PI+ sensors (13th Oct).

It is a 3-day workshop where students will be taught how to compile a personal digital portfolio and undergo a mock interview in preparation for DPA. There will also be hands-on activities, lectures and software coaching.

Each workshop will run with a minimum number of students for 3 hours.
