Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign
Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign (ADAC) is an annual event organized by National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) to spread anti-drug messages. The theme for ADAC 2017 was to promote healthy drug-free lifestyle.
The
student’s role in this project was to conceptualise, plan, promote and execute various events in the campaign. The campaign comprised of roadshows, secondary school talks, Break In: Music Concert and BreakOut: Danceworks!.
The Preventive
Drug Education Roadshow held in Singapore Polytechnic (SP) had various activities organised to promote a drug-free lifestyle. The team also managed to publicise the ADAC 2017 events throughout campus. They also promoted ADAC 2017 and raised awareness
at secondary schools through a self-ideated interactive video and skit.
During Break In: Music Concert at Suntec City International Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Break Out: Danceworks! at SCAPE, the students assisted in the execution
and managing of the events.
Furthermore, the team also proposed ideas for ADAC 2018. The ADAC 2017 events were featured on various media platforms such as SP’s SPirit magazine, Instagram and Twitter, webpage, CNB’s Instagram
page, the Berita Harian and the Home Team NS webpage
