Recruitment for Marquee Events Programme is an ongoing year-long programme that provides opportunities for ABE students particularly event students to work alongside industry partners and brand-name events.
The programme facilitates students to get hands-on learning experiences at major events and be mentored by industry partners.
The fundamental role of the student team from Diploma in integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM)
was to recruit and manage students for various events such as Singapore MICE Forum 2018, Seamless Asia 2018, EduTECH Asia 2018, SATS Awards Night 2018 and Let’s Go Jalan Jalan Food and Music Festival.
Other roles and responsibilities of the student team included sourcing for suitable events, liaising with industry partners and students, conducting pre-event and on-site briefings, managing students and working on-site, overseeing payroll and conducting post-event evaluation through surveys and interviews.
