Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign 2016

27 Sep 2016

Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign (ADAC) is an annual event organised by the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB). A group of year two students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) was tasked to plan and execute the various activities pertaining to the campaign.

As part of the campaign, the DEPM students organised an Anti-Drug abuse roadshow in Singapore Polytechnic to allow students to pen their Anti-Drug pledges onto a pledge wall.

They also assisted in the planning and execution of the Anti-Drug Escape Game on 25 and 26 June 2016 at Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, which is held to commemorate the ‘International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’.

DanceWorks! Competition is another event organised as part of the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign. The dance competition aims to engage the youths in spreading the Anti-Drug message as well as encourage development of a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. It also provides a platform for youths to express themselves and pursue their passion for dance.
