Two second year students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) - Choo Rui Qi and Kim Sun Hyeok, have won the Judges Choice and Audience Choice Awards at the ?#?OurClimateOurChoice Instagram Contest organised by the National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS), Prime Minister’s Office. .
The contest was conceived as part of NCCS' outreach efforts to raise awareness and encourage individual action on climate change in Singapore. The theme for this year's competition, Our Climate, Our Choice, emphasises about the close connection between our daily choices and climate change. It also highlights the importance of the issue and the urgent need for action.
Rui Qi and Sun Hyeok, who put to good use what they had learnt about social media and corporate social responsibility in their Public Relations (PR) module, receive a $350 worth 2D1N Staycation at Parkroyal on Pickering and a $100 Kinokuniya voucher for their efforts.
