Recent DLA Graduate Featured in Berita Harian

Recent graduate Indra Faridzuan Bin Runzi from the Diploma in Landscape Architecture was featured in local newspaper Berita Harian on 23 May 2014.
Indra was invited by the award-winning landscape architectural firm, Tierra Design, to work after completing his outstanding performance as an intern during his industry training programme there. Indra plans to work before continuing his academic studies. He believes in accumulating real-life experience and skills to gain ample and relevant industry exposure before furthering his landscape architectural studies in Australia.
In the article, Education Minister Mr Heng Swee Keat commented that Indra was an exemplary graduate who took the opportunities opened to him to develop his skills and capabilities competently. Mr Heng stressed on the importance of life-long learning and build-up of character in the ‘intangibles’ - to have the mentality and attitude in wanting to learn - not just in school but also at work. The yearning and practice of a life-long learning attitude will eventually produce quality workers for the industry at large, locally and gobally.
