DEPM to host PCMA Convening Leaders first broadcast in Asia

Singapore Polytechnic’s Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) collaborated with Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), to be the venue sponsor for the delayed telecast of two Professional Convention Management Association      (insert link in underlined text: http://www.pcma.org/)  (PCMA) Convening Leaders sessions on 10 January 2017.

 

This is the first time PCMA is broadcasting its flagship event “Convening Leaders” from Austin, Texas, to business event professionals in Asia. The premier event for global meetings and business events industry was attended by over 4,000 delegates on-site from 8 to 11 January 2017.

More than 100 event professionals, DEPM students and staff turned up for the event which featured sessions ‘Opening Main Stage – The Meaning of Trust in the Digital Age’ presented by Rachel Botsman, and ‘SXSW – The Makings of an Iconic Festival’.

“PCMA believes in inspiring, innovating and connecting the business events community globally. By offering a specific broadcast to our Asian colleagues, we are connecting the industry and spreading the access of education and sharing of perspectives,” said Deborah Sexton, President and CEO – PCMA.
