Article featured SP’s Diploma in Landscape Architecture (DLA) Year 3 students’ collaboration with Disabled People’s Association (DPA) for their Universal Design module project, to produce a map that gives an overview of accessibility in Central Business District (CBD) area. On the 10 July mapping event day, Minister Mr Desmond Lee, DPA staff & their inclusive ambassadors, ABE Director Dr Faris, DLA teaching staff and students with a group of volunteers from BNP Paribas and DP Architects tested the various pedestrian routes and collected valuable data. The findings will contribute towards the documentation and final improvement proposal, which will be presented to the authorities in a bid to make real changes in the area.
