DLA’s Collaboration with SBG

25 Aug 2021

Diploma in Landscape Architecture (DLA) teaching staff, Sonny Saculo collaborated with staff from Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG) for Landscape Design Studio. Leading DLA First Year students and other module coordinators, Sonny integrated this collaboration as part of curriculum. Guided by teaching staff, students worked on landscape design proposals for the Healing Gardens in SBG, Singapore’s First UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the second year DLA students have worked on a project site in SBG.

With determination from SBG staff, DLA staff and students, technology was applied to overcome pandemic restrictions to bring this collaboration to fruition. DLA expresses utmost gratitude to staff of SBG for time and effort for another valuable experience and exposure in a collaboration that benefited both students and staff.
