Internship poster gallery walk

16 Mar 2017

At the Biologics Corridor at T11A, a gallery walk was recently coordinated for the Diploma in Biotechnology graduating students to share their internship exposures with their juniors and the School’s faculty. In poster format, each student gave his/her unique insights in the program, peppered with interesting anecdotes and personal advice. Whilst the majority of the fields pursued by our students were in R&D and biologics manufacturing, there was also a number of translational applications pursuits, clinical studies and equipment development. These were certainly out-of-classroom experiences with workplace rigor. A key learning point was to actively seek out good learning opportunities as this is a demonstration of initiative and keenness. To the year 2 students who turned up, this was valuable and timely advice indeed.
