SP Chemical Engineering students won 1st runner up in Save the Egg Challenge 2021

Team CS4 comprises of four current Year 2 Chemical Engineering (DCHE) students: Andrew Sim, Tan Min Jin Albie, Lian Zhi Yao and Pang Da Quan Darius.

The students participated in the first Materials Innovation and Engineering Competition 2021 organised by the Department of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE), NUS and emerged 1st runner up in the ‘Save the Egg Challenge’. The team designed a 3D printed egg sleeve to withstand resistance impact when the egg is dropped from a vertical height of 240m.
