DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING (S53, DCPE)

Team SP, the only team from Singapore, won Silver prize in 14th International Standards Olympiad competition at Anseong-si, Korea from 23 - 25 Jul 2019

Team SP, comprising second year DASE, DCPE and DEEE students, won the Silver prize in the High School category of the 14th International Standards Olympiad competition held at Anseong-si, Korea, from 23 to 25 Jul 2019. The only team from Singapore, the team was among the 25 teams from 8 countries which competed in the High School category.

The competition was to provide students with opportunities to understand and increase their interest in standards found in daily lives. During the competition, students were required to develop international standards after carrying out a field study on a given task. They were evaluated on the written assignment and oral presentation of the international standards that the students had developed within eight hours.
