DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (S99, DEEE)

DEEE STUDENTS WON BRONZE AWARD IN ASSISTIVE & REHABILITATION TECH CHALLENGE

Congratulations to year 3 students from the Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (DEEE), Ong Yiyong, Anthony Tan, Joseph Raj and Eyzen Chua for winning the Bronze Award in the Technology Category of the 5th National Assistive & Rehabilitation Technologies (ART) Student Innovation Challenge (SIC) held in Singapore on 4 April 2017. The challenge was organized by the NTU Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS) and CGH Centre for Healthcare Assistive and Robotic Technology (CHART).

Their project, “An Enhanced Sensorized Block and Box Test for Rehabilitation of Gross Manual Dexterity” is a prototype that can measure the movements of a person undergoing rehabilitation.
