Pioneer DES Graduate Wins Mendaki Special Awards

Since childhood days, Nur Farzana Saini has cherished a dream to be an engineer someday so that she could change the world with technological or product innovations. It is a dream well on the way to becoming a reality.

In May 2016, Farzana graduated as the inaugural Gold Medallist of the Diploma in Engineering Systems course. Following her passion, she has gone on to read a Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. In recognition of her exceptional academic performance, Farzana received the Mendaki Special Achievement Award for Excellence and the Anugerah Khas Mendaki Award at the Anugerah Mendaki 2016 Awards Ceremony held on 24 Sep 2016 at The Theatre @ Mediacorp. The award ceremony celebrated the achievements of 518 Malay/Muslim students from PSLE to University.
