EEE Students emerged Top 5 during AWS HACKDAYS 2019

04 Apr 2019

Team SudoX, comprising EEE students - Bryan Tee (DCPE EA 2FT), Sim Jia Ren (DASE 3FT), James Lim (DCPE 2FT) and Nikhil Raghavendra (DCPE 3FT), were among the top 5 teams emerged out from 70 teams at the AWS HACKDAYS Singapore Finale 2019.  The other SP team was Team Artificial Idiots, which consisted students from the School of Computing (SOC). Mr Teo Shin Jen, Senior Lecturer from the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering supervised both teams.

As the remaining teams were made up of working professionals, students from both Team SudoX and Artificial Idiots worked hard and gave their best in pitching their Cloud Computing based solutions to a panel of esteemed judges from AWS, Intel, and Horangi.

Although both teams did not manage to win the top prize, the judges were impressed by Team SudoX’s show & tell, and personally went to encourage the students and explained how close they were to winning the top prize.
