DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING SYSTEMS (S33)

FACILITIES - YEAR 2 LABORATORY

YEAR 2 LABORATORY
Analog Communication Systems

Students will learn to enhance their knowledge on the principles and techniques used in analog communication systems. It also provides students with fundamental knowledge for third year specialised modules such as Digital Communications, Satellite & Optical Communications, Mobile Communication Systems and EMI/ EMC.
Analog+Communication+Systems
Circuit Theory & Analysis

Students will gain understanding of circuit theory, which includes mesh analysis, nodal analysis, circuit theorems and applications. Students will also be introduced to three-phase circuits, covering three-phase supply and loads.
Principles+of+Electrical+&+Electronic+Engineering
Sensors & Instrumentation

Students will learn the various sensors such as thermocouple temperature, differential pressure transmitter and analyse the loading error in voltmeter. Students will also design a labview based virtual instrument and acquire analog signal data from external devices.
