MAE students from DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) won two awards in the recent Amazing Science-X Challenge 2016 (ASXC 2016). The ASXC is an annual nationwide competition organised by DSO National Laboratories (DSO), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Science Centre Singapore (SCS). It challenges teams to design and build a stand-alone exhibit that best explains a physical science phenomenon.
Our two groups of DME students, Team ACE and Team Augmented Piguet, won the Bronze and the Merit award respectively. Team ACE is led by Mr Thomas Cheung, while Team Augmented Piguet is led by Mr Alvin Tay.
