[CLOSED] Consumer Sensory Tasting Of Instant Soup

You are invited to participate in the sensory tasting of Instant Soup samples for a duration of 30 minutes on either 24th January (Monday) or 25th January (Tuesday). The sensory includes tasting of samples and answering questionnaire about the instant soup is to be held at Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) at block T11B level 3 room 01, Singapore Polytechnic.

Below are the criteria to qualify for the sensory:

  • Age between 21-39 years old and must be a parent;
  • Have drank instant soups before;
  • Not allergic or intolerant to any food ingredients;
  • Able to converse in English fluently and well verse in using a computer;
  • Fully vaccinated by the selected date of participation (an individual is considered fully-vaccinated 14 days after he/she has received two doses of the PfizerBioNTech/ Comirnaty, Moderna, Sinovac, Sinopharm or AstraZeneca vaccines). A valid proof of vaccination status must be presented before the start of the sensory session. Failure to do so means that you will not be allowed to participate.

To compensate for the time and efforts taken, all participants successfully attended the sensory trial will receive a token of appreciation.

All participation is voluntary. If you are interested, do apply here by 20th January. Slots are based on first-come, first-served basis.  An email will be sent to confirm your appointment if you are shortlisted.

Please be assured that any information that have been provided will be kept strictly confidential, and that the FIRC will not release any information that can be linked to you.

In view of the current COVID-19 situation, the following measures will be taken:

  • Temperature taking;
  • Not more than 5 people in a room;
  • Participants will be spaced at least 1m apart to ensure social distancing;
  • Mask must be worn at all times. You are only allowed to remove the mask when you are tasting the samples, and to wear it back immediately once completed;
  • Sanitise your hands before entering the sensory booth (hand sanitiser will be provided).

This research study (Protocol number 202011-04) involving human participants has been exempted by SP IRB committee.
