Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) Scheme

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen students who have PSEA funds
  • Students with Singapore Citizen siblings who have PSEA funds

Please note that the PSEA will be closed in the year the account holder turns 31. Any unused funds in the PSEA will be transferred to the account holder's CPF-OA. Once transferred, it cannot be reversed to PSEA and will be subjected to CPF-OA usage rules. 

You can call the 24-hour automated PSEA hotline at 6260 0777 to check your balance. Latest PSEA balance information will be updated every Wednesday.

Please note that if you are paying your fees using both SFC and PSEA, the priority order for fees deduction will be as follows: 

  1. SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) 
  2. Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

List of Courses Types that accept PSEA Payment:

  1. Part-Time Diploma and Post-Diploma Courses
  2. SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes
  3. Short & Modular Courses with SSG Funding

Outcome: 

The processing time for the PSEA application will take around 4 to 6 weeks after the date of course commencement. Account holders will receive a letter informing them of the outcome of their standing order application by then. We will contact you within 2 weeks from your application submission date if we need further information from you.

Application Procedure: 

 

  • Account holders can apply to withdraw the PSEA funds for payment of approved fees and charges through the following:

    Establishing a standing order
    The PSEA Standing Order (SO) one-time application. It will apply to all future withdrawals by Singapore Polytechnic PACE Academy and will cease only when terminated or replaced.

    If you have already submitted a PSEA SO in another Polytechnic, you are not required to submit a new PSEA SO. You must declare at STEP payment page that you have previously established a PSEA SO previously and we will send this information to MOE for verification.

    If you are no longer studying in Singapore Polytechnic PACE Academy, the SO can be terminated by submitting an online application using your SingPass.

    Submit the PSEA Standing Order online application using SingPass if:
  • The account holder (the student) who is 21 years old and above
  • A parent if the account holder (the student) is below 21 years old.
  • Using your sibling's PSEA
  • Using both you and your sibling's PSEA
  • A Guardian


Note: Student, parent (or legal guardian) and siblings must be above 21 years old, have SingPass and email accounts to apply/authorise for MOE-PSEA
