Course Objective

Conducted as an e-learning course. The aim of this course is to provide knowledge and skills to shipboard training officers and assessors.

Course Outline

The course meets the standard of training and certification of watch keepers 2010 requirements and is approved by the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). The participants are allowed up to 6 months to complete four units in the course. The course materials provide the framework to conduct training and assessment. The lessons are designed to relate to shipboard activities. Trainers should attempt to apply the knowledge to practice and perfect the skills. Regular evaluation will help in developing to be an effective trainer and assessor.

Minimum Requirements

CoC Class 5/4/3/2/1 deck or engine certification.

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Performance (STCW A-11/2)

Suitable for

Aspiring senior ship officers at management level and current holders of class 1 or 2 deck or engine certificate of competency.

c) For payment via PayNow, please enter the UEN No. T08GB0056ACET and indicate the invoice/registration number.
