Course Introduction:
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Food Manufacturing Professional and Associate aims to equip Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (“PMETs”) and Rank-and-File (“RnF”) employees with relevant skillsets to take on new jobs in companies in the Food Manufacturing sector.
The target beneficiaries are Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) who are:
(a) New hires undergoing skills conversion to take on new job roles in the food manufacturing industry.

The Programme is open to all company-sponsored applicants (SCs and PRs) who meet the following General Eligibility Criteria:
• New Hires
o Minimum 21 years old
o Graduated or completed National Service, whichever is later, at least two years prior at the point of application
o Must not be in the same job role prior to joining the CCP
o Have no bond obligation with any organisation
o Meet employer or course-specific selection criteria, where applicable
o Newly hired within the last 3 months, and nominated by an eligible company prior to enrolment into the programme
For Participating Companies:
• Be registered or incorporated in Singapore
• Ensure that new hires cannot be:
o A shareholder of the CCP company, or its related companies;
o Related to the owner(s) of the CCP company; and
o Immediate ex-staff of CCP company or its related companies;
• Must offer the new hire a job and issue a valid permanent employment contract; full-time contract employment must be at least 12 months
• Conversions can be inter-sectoral or intra-sectoral1
• Must be able to provide structured OJT training for the candidate.
1Inter-sectoral refers to a new job in a different sector, intra-sectoral refers to a different job in the same sector
Minimum Entry Requirements:
Possess at least a NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Degree from any discipline.
Award / Certification / Accreditation
Participants who complete the module will be issued a:
• *Certificate of Performance, if they pass the assessment;
• *Certificate of Attendance, if they either have not undertaken the assessment or fail the assessment.

The Salary Support will commensurate with their academic qualifications and working experience. Companies are not eligible to submit Absentee Payroll claims on behalf of trainees who are in the programme.
