It has been acknowledged that TNA is a critical skill to have for curriculum developers, instructional designers, assessors, facilitators, trainers, consultants, analysts and researchers. The selected solution, be it training or non-training interventions, requires a clear understanding of the causes and effects of the problem at various levels. TNA is also influenced by the business and economic environment. At the individual level, the needs of the staff and learners must also be examined.
This course aims to ensure that the participants will experience learning on how to design and implement a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) at their workplace. It will deal with the WHY and HOW of demonstrating this TNA skill.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Profile of Trainer
Mr David Wong is competent in facilitating learning in a variety of activity-based and practical sessions for this module. As a Trainer interested in helping others realise their potential to grow in learning, he has attained, Master in Education, Master in Science (Library and Information Studies), Diploma in Training Management (DTM) and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE).
Currently, he is a Trainer for the ESS modules in the Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes conducted by the Singapore Polytechnic. In the past, he has taught in the NSRS OJT modules and worked with corporate clients in designing OJT programmes at the workplace.

Withdrawal and Deferment
Withdrawal and deferment notice must be made in writing to the Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy, Singapore Polytechnic via email accordingly:Online Courses

For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows:Classroom
- 2 weeks before the commencement of the course - Full refund
- Less than 2 weeks before commencement of the course - 70% refund
- On or after date of commencement - No refund
- There will be no refund or transfer of course once the account has been created.
The Singapore Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel or postpone any of the courses. Applicants will be duly notified and where applicable, the full fees will be refunded.
The Singapore Polytechnic also reserves the right to amend the fees charged or the period and duration of the courses.
The data provided to Singapore Polytechnic will be kept strictly confidential and will be used for the purpose of course administration. The data may be passed on to the relevant organisations that require the information related to the course.
